With 30 years of experience in construction and 28 years focusing in healthcare/OSHPD, Scot has worked with the team to build a solid reputation of integrity and premium quality of work that makes HDC a trusted partner to our clients and partners. He is dedicated to improving the communities he belongs to and is highly active in philanthropic works that benefit various causes and organizations. Outside of his profession, Scot enjoys family activities, hiking, fishing, golfing and watching college football.

Mike Hernandez
Senior Project Director
One of the original PDC West team members, Mike has over 30 years of experience in construction with 25 years focusing in healthcare/OSHPD. With his architectural background, Mike brings strong leadership in delivering design-build projects. Mike’s in-depth knowledge of OSHPD and extensive experience in partnering with architects allows him to provide strategic construction advice to his clients and owners during high-level planning phase. In his free time, Mike enjoys wine-tasting and river fishing.
Joseph De Luca
Project Director
Joseph, known as Joey by his long-time colleagues and friends, is part of the original group of PDC West. He has over 30 years of experience in construction and over 20 years of experience working in OSHPD environments. Joey has established himself as a trusted advisor to his clients and partners through his precise attention to details and extensive construction knowledge in highly technical spaces. In his spare time, Joey enjoys running and has participated in various Marathons.

Janice Ramsay-Gonzales
Operation Director
Janice, one of the original team members of PDC West, began her career in construction with PDC West and now HDC. She has been a dedicated member of the National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC) and active in her philanthropic work for various nonprofit organizations, including the St. Joseph Hospital of Orange Foundation. Janice was honored as the recipient of the 2015 Spirit of St Joseph Award for her long-time contribution to the Foundation.
Jim Bostic
Senior Project Director
With 40 years of experience in construction and 30 years focusing on healthcare projects, Jim Bostic offers HDC’s clients his extensive expertise in managing complex healthcare patient care towers and hospital renovation projects. Prior to joining HDC, Jim had his own general contracting company for 16 years that specialized in tenant improvement and healthcare renovation projects. He joined St. Joseph Health System Design and Construction Division in 1999 to oversee system-wide projects from complex healthcare patient care towers to hospital renovation projects - a portfolio worth over $1.5 billion dollars. In 2012, Jim transitioned into his new role as the co-leader of Petra-ICS, a full service owner’s representative firm. Jim enjoys a wide range of reading, golfing and ministry work during his free time.

One of the original Team Members of PDC West, Jim has over 30 Years of experience in construction and has worked in healthcare/OSHPD environment over the past 20 years. Prior to joining PDC West, Jim operated his own Electrical Sub Contracting firm through which he established a long-time trusted working relationship with PDC West. Jim is an avid and passionate Boston Sports Fan.

Dr. Scott Christensen is the Director of Construction for our Scottsdale, Arizona office. Scott has a Doctorate of Business Administration and is a published author with the research of evidence-based design in healthcare construction. Scott brings over 25 years of experience and knowledge in construction and project management to the HDC team. In his free time, Scott loves to golf, travel with his wife and spend time with his three children.

Vanessa Tang
Project Development Director
Vanessa joined HDC in 2014 to work with the leadership team to develop relationships with strategic partners and position the firm to pursue target clients. Prior to joining HDC, Vanessa worked in business development capacity at Buro Happold, HOK, and Thornton Tomasetti. Outside of work, Vanessa enjoys spinning, traveling and reading.
Brian Rowland
Director of Finance
Brian, a Certified Public Accountant, joined HDC as the Director of Finance in November 2017. Prior to joining HDC, he was with Rowland Companies Construction Group for 20 years. Brian started as Controller, then project manager. His role evolved as the company grew from $8mm/year to $124mm/year, eventually becoming the CFO and President of the company.
Brian and his wife love traveling, they have explored different parts of the world together! In his free time, he enjoys fly fishing, shooting trap & skeet with his son, and archery with his daughter.

Having joined HDC in 2013, Steve brings over 28 years of experience in healthcare construction and OSHPD to further strengthen HDC’s capabilities to better serve our acute healthcare clients. Since the start of his career as project superintendent, Steve has acquired extensive experience in managing multiple complex renovation projects in OSHPD environments. Outdoor activities, spending time with family and becoming a new Grandpa top Steve’s list of enjoyments.
Jeromy Ginn
Construction Manager
Joining the company in 2014, Jeromy has been leading HDC’s team in Lubbock, Texas. He brings 25 years of construction and maintenance experience, beginning in the field swinging hammers to structural welding while obtaining a business degree in strategic management. The last 12 years of his career have been exclusively in healthcare construction with the Department of Defense/MEDCOM, as well as private and public hospital systems. Prior to joining HDC, Jeromy worked as the VP of Construction at Golden Living and Regional Project Manger at J&J Worldwide Services. Outside of his professional life, Jeromy enjoys spending time with his family, skiing, hiking and carpentry.
