Queen of the Valley Medical Center Imaging Center

The Imaging Center at the Queen of the Valley Hospital is a 7,500 square foot diagnostic outpatient facility. The center was designed to include state of the art equipment, including a CT Scanner and MRI. The design took into consideration the proximity between patients and hospital personnel. Close contact and communication between patient and staff were key factors in the layout of the center. The new building also eliminated the need to share resources between hospital patients and outpatients.  The design offered solutions to common patient complaints of stress, anxiety, lack of control and confinement. Materials that are sustainable, sound absorbing and environmentally friendly were integrated into the project. HDC delivered the project on time and within the budget.
