St. Jude Medical Center Radiology/ORS AHU Installation

HDC completed the installation of a new Air Handler Unit on the roof of the Radiology Building. Per the original design, the new Air Handler Unit was to sit directly on top of the existing rooftop underneath steel supports at the roof deck. Upon further review, it was discovered that the building could not hold the unit load. A new structural steel platform was designed to cantilever across the existing buildings to independently support the new unit load. The new Air Handler Unit supplies the 1st-floor Radiology suite and basement level old ORs.
