The Innovation Lab

In 2013, HDC was commissioned to build out the Innovation Lab’s permanent home in Newport Beach, California. The Innovation Lab is dedicated to launching innovation products and services that improve the health of the people locally and globally. The design intention for the Lab was to bring people together and encourage collaboration through vibrant, fun and flexible spaces. The 4,500 sq. ft. space consists of creative workspace, brainstorming areas, a collaboration conference room, multi-media presentation room and a product showcase area. Working with the space planner and the architect, the HDC team was able to build out the space on schedule and remain flexible throughout the process to accommodate the owner’s changes and code compliance issue without comprising the quality.
