HDC was commissioned to build the St. Joseph Hospital Breast Care Center project, a OSHPD-3 compliant and licensed facility in a building not designed for OSHPD-3 occupancies on the project floor. This project includes state-of-the-art diagnostic technology and the space was designed to offer as calming an environment to patients as possible. With HDC’s technical support throughout the process early-on, the architect was able to advocate on the client’s behalf with The City of Orange Building Department to allow the existing HVAC system, which resulted in significant project saving for the client. HDC’s familiarity of the client’s design quality requirements provides significant efficiency through the entire project.
